DESCRIPTION:I am doing a talk at the Old Low Light Heritage Centre\, North Shields NE30 1JE on Saturday 11 February at 11.00am which is about\, what I have called\, the hidden history of Robert Lowery\, the North Shields man who was one of the leaders of the Chartist movement.  \nThe talk will cover his birth in North Shields\, his life and exploits as a child and young man\, and how he become involved in what was going on around him at a time when there was much agitation in the area for Lord Grey’s Reform Act.
