DESCRIPTION:From Peter Sagar \nCelebrating Our Traditions is a series of multicultural events\, held at the Tyneside Irish Centre\, featuring our Northumbrian music and song as well as some of the many great cultural traditions\, which have been brought to our region by those who have to come to live here. It always makes for a great cultural mix and a lovely evening! \nThe next Celebrating Our Traditions event will be held in the Gallowgate Room\, Floor 2 at the Tyneside Irish Centre\, 43 Gallowgate NE1 4SG starting at 7.30 pm on Thursday 15 June. It will include contributions from the following: \nJamie Brown\, well-known northeast actor\, singer and musician singing songs with a local flavour. \nFrancis Jones and Amer Ratkusic reading poetry from Bosnia \nKoroush Nazery\, Iranian musician playing music from Iran \nPeter Sagar\, singer-songwriter\, singing Northumbrian songs both old and new\nIrish and other music tbc \nThe doors open at 7 pm on Thursday 15 June and it should be a great evening!
