Professor John Bradshaw: Child poverty in the North East region. Event celebrating the life and contribution of Professor John Veit-Wilson
March 2 @ 17:30
Celebrating the life and contribution of Professor John Veit-Wilson and the move of the North East Child Poverty Commission to Newcastle University, this lecture will consider the evidence on the most recent trends and spatial distribution of child poverty in the North East, reflecting on the strengths and weaknesses of that evidence, in particular in the context of Covid-19. It will also include a review of the impact of the post-Covid interventions and prescribe an agenda for future action.
