Celebrating Our Traditions is a series of multicultural events, held at the Tyneside Irish Centre, featuring our Northumbrian music and song as well as some of the many great cultural traditions, which have been brought to our region by those who have to come to live here. It always makes for a great cultural mix and a lovely evening!

The next Celebrating Our Traditions event will be held in the Gallowgate Room, Floor 2 at the Tyneside Irish Centre, 43 Gallowgate NE1 4SG starting at 7.30 pm on Thursday 15 June. It will include contributions from the following:

Jamie Brown, well-known northeast actor, singer and musician singing songs with a local flavour.

Francis Jones and Amer Ratkusic reading poetry from Bosnia

Koroush Nazery, Iranian musician playing music from Iran

Peter Sagar, singer-songwriter, singing Northumbrian songs both old and new
Irish and other music tbc
