You are invited to Washington Heritage Partnership’s Summer Networking Event
6 June 2023 @ 12:00 - 15:30
Tuesday 6th June 2023, North East Land, Sea and Air Museum, from 12noon
Those of you who attended our introductory event in February will be aware of how productive it was in helping everyone to find out more about how the Washington Heritage Partnership can benefit you and your groups/organisations. Come along to our summer event, which will be another great chance to bounce around ideas, to explore the museum, and also to hear from:
- Lizzy Baker of Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums will tell us about collections management and conservation: how do we best curate what we have?
- Project Choices will give some insights into how heritage volunteering can enhance the life- and work- skills of young people with autism
The event will also provide an opportunity for updates on:
- Funding opportunities and grants for heritage and cultural organisation operating in Washington, including an update on our Small Grants programme.
- Free and bespoke training and support opportunities.
Most of all, we want to hear from you! Share your insights and approaches, and tell us what we can do to enrich the heritage offer in Washington.
