The Society doesn’t have it’s own obituary of Alex Glasgow, but we include links to two newspaper obituaries, for very different reasons:
- The Guardian. Written by Alan Plater this piece gives a good coverage of his life, work and socialist drive.
- The Newcastle Evening Chronicle which is included because, quite atonishingly, it manages to give a fairly broad picture of is life, except that it does not once mention his socialism.
